Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt have become a very famous couple over the past few years. They have acted together in various films such as ‘Student of the Year,’ ‘Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhaniyan’ and ‘Badrinath Ki Dulhaniyan.’ The duo is going to reunite once again for their fourth film together.
This is what Varun Dhawan said about teaming up with Alia Bhatt:
“Alia and I are always in the same boat. Our styles are different, we chose different films, but the things that go on in our head are often the same. Our conversations often begin with me asking Alia, ‘Is this the right thing to do? Does this need to change?’ And she assuring me that I’m on the right track. Five minutes later, I’ll become the one calming her down. That’s our life in a nutshell.”
The film is going to be titled as ‘Shiddat.’ Abhishek Varman will direct the movie. The director has previously worked as an assistant direction in films like ‘Jodhaa Akbar,’ ‘My Name is Khan’ and ‘Student of the Year.’ Abhishek made his debut in director’s chair with ‘2 States’ for which he also won the Filmfare Best Director Award. He will be looking forward to reprising his successive role once again in ‘Shiddat.’
‘Shiddat’ is going to have two male lead actors. According to rumors, either Aditya Roy Kapoor or Arjun Kapoor will fill in the void of the second male lead actor joining hands with Varun Dhawan. The shooting of the film will begin soon.
