Kangana Ranaut’s Manikarnika – Queen Of Jhansi, has a new member. With every update, the star cast is getting bigger and better and is raising the bars for this movie. According to the latest reports, Atul Kulkarni is now the new member of the film. He will be playing the role of Ramchandra Pandurang Tope, better known as Tatya Tope. Also, Kangana Ranaut will play the Queen of Jhansi. Ankita Lokhande, on the other hand, is playing Jhalkari Bai, the one who used to disguise and shield Rani Laxmi Bai.
Not only this, the three actors are learning sword-fighting and horse riding for their upcoming project. Also, according to the reports, Atul Kulkarni’s role is going to be the most important role after Kangana’s.
Going by some history lessons, Tatya Tope was one of the few generals leading the 1857 rebellion of India. Also, he helped Rani Laxmibai against the British to conquer Gwalior. Atul Kulkarni has some experience in playing historic characters. Atul is best known for his role in Rang De Basant. He played an Indian revolutionary, Ram Prasad Bilmil.
Rang De Basanti will always remain in the hearts of people. Furthermore, he spoke about his character. He Said:
“This is something I’ve never done before. I am doing all my sword fighting stunts myself. My body-double hired to do the stunts just sits around on the sets doing nothing.”
Kangana Ranaut’s previous project, Rangoon, failed at the Box Office miserably. Manikarnika is going to hit the theaters on April 27, 2018. Manikarnika is intriguing to look which should do well at the Box Office as well as the content.
