After two weeks long vacation in the United States, Hrithik Roshan has returned to India. He enjoyed the vacations with his sons Hrehaan and Hridhaan, ex-wife Sussanne Khan, and friends. The filmmaker Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra has approached Hrithik Roshan for Ronnie Screwvala’s yet-untitled production.
Regarding the concept of the movie and expected release date, sources have informed:
“It’s a film on kabaddi, set in a prisoner- of-war camp, which has been developed by Ronnie’s writers. Hrithik has heard the script but is yet to sign on the dotted line. The film is expected to roll by the year-end. The final locations will be selected soon.”
Adding a contrary to these reports of sources, Ronnie’s kabaddi team won’t feature in the movie. In addition to this, sources informed that:
“It’s not even a biopic. It’s completely fiction.”
This untitled film is the fifth production of Ronnie Screwvala. He has also produced Anand Tiwari’s Love Per Square Foot featuring Vicky Kaushal & Angina Dhar. Also, an anthology of four shorts directed by Karan Johar, Anurag Kashyap, Zoya Akhtar and Dibakar Banerjee was produced by him. This movie was not a sequel to Bombay Talkies. It’s a comedy film that will feature Irrfan Khan. His next project is Abhishek Chaubey’s next film which sees Sushant Singh Rajput playing a role of a dacoit.
Hrithik Roshan last made a cameo appearance in a designer-turned-filmmaker Vikram Phadani’s Marathi Film. In Bollywood, he last acted in his home production movie Kaabil directed by Sanjay Gupta. This action-crime drama film got a good response from the audience. Meanwhile, we see Rakeysh has started working on his upcoming movie Famney Khan. It will feature the duo of Anil Kapoor and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan in the lead role.
