The Megastar Aamir Khan has taken over the world with China being his most recent victim. Dangal has created yet another historical record at the box office. After tearing apart the box office in India, the film is dominating the China market. The movie is all set to become the highest grossing Indian film in China.
The film collected Rs. 12.99cr [$2.02 million] on its opening day in China. The film witnessed an impressive growth, similar to the growth it saw at the Indian box office. The opening weekend raked in a desirable amount of Rs. 71.50cr [$11.12 million] at the Chinese Box Office. Moreover, the movie collected Rs. 17.6cr [$2.74 million] on Monday. Surprisingly, the Monday box office collections are more than the amount the film brought in on Friday. These numbers clearly show the dominance of Dangal.
As per the trend of the film, the 1000cr figure is on the cards. It will become the first Hindi film to do so if it goes on to pass the dreamy 1000cr figure. The only Indian movie which has achieved the feat is Bahubali 2: The Conclusion which released last month. It will be interesting to see how Bahubali 2: The Conclusion perform at the Chinese box office as the first film was a complete washout in China. This fact clearly shows how Aamir Khan has established a stern fan following in China.
Dangal, a sports drama film directed by Nitesh Tiwari also stars Fatima Sana Shaikh and Sanya Malhotra in lead roles. Dangal will cross the 100cr mark tonight at the Chinese box office. Additionally, the film will target the 200cr mark as well. It will look forward to challenging the lifetime record set by PK in China. Going by the current trend, Dangal will comfortably surpass the collections of PK.
