Paresh Rawal recently released some controversial statements which got a lot of heat. However, the actor has cleared the misunderstandings by stating that his words were misquoted. The actor said:
“I never said I want to work in Pakistani films neither it is my wish. I want to categorically state this. I have been misquoted.”
Paresh Rawal also said that he never said that Indian TV serials are boring. He added:
“I just said that I liked Pakistan’s TV serial ‘Humsafar’ but never said ours are boring. I only said ours are a little slow.”
‘Humsafar’ is a Pakistani TV serial which features Mahira Khan and Fawad Khan in lead roles. Mahira Khan and Fawad Khan made their Bollywood debuts in ‘Raees’ and ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ respectively.
Paresh Rawal also said:
“I believe that artists and cricketers don’t come and throw bombs. They are not terrorists; rather they bridge the gap between the two countries. But when the mood is not good why rake up issues at that time? It is better to stay with your country.”
The actor has cleared all the misconceptions regarding his statements. He’d hope for things to get normal once again.
