Three films released at the Box Office this week with a promise of giving Bollywood a hit. ‘Raabta’ was the most hyped film of the three films. ‘Behen Hogi Teri’ had promising promos which made us think that the movie will fare well at the Indian Box Office. The third film was a Tom Cruise starrer ‘The Mummy.’ Despite the names attached to the movie, all the three movies have managed to earn close to 10 crores collectively.

People had many expectations for ‘Raabta’ as Sushant Singh Rajput’ previous film ‘Dhoni’ earned well. He was also praised for his performance in the film. As a matter of fact, Sushant and Kriti tried their level best to promote the film. Still, the film performed relatively average as it earned 5.61 crores on its first day. Among Sushant Singh Rajput’s releases, this is where ‘Raabta’ ended up:

Sushant Singh Rajput and Kriti Sanon play the lead roles in the movie. It is a romantic drama film directed by Dinesh Vijan.

Behen Hogi Teri and The Mummy stayed slow as the films collected 50 lakhs and 3.6 crores respectively. The numbers are low. In fact, it was expected that the Rajkumar Rao starrer would at least manage to earn around one crore, but the film will look on to expect growth today. The Mummy has also failed to get viewers either compared to other Hollywood film; it is performing average.

Behen Hogi Teri features Shruti Hassan and Rajkumar Rao in lead roles whereas The Mummy features Tom Cruise as the lead actor of the film.
