Reema Lagoo passed away due to cardiac arrest at the age of 59. She was admitted to Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital. She suffered cardiac arrest at the same place. Reema Lagoo has played various supporting roles in movies like ‘Kaho Na Pyaar Hai,’ ‘Maine Pyaar Kiya,’ ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’ and ‘Hum Aapke Hai Koun.’
Details Regarding Reema Lagoo’s Funeral
Bollywood celebrities attended the funeral of Reema Lago. The list included personalities like Aamir Khan, Kiran Rao, Rishi Kapoor, Manoj Joshi, Sameer Dharmadhikari, Kajol and many others.
Aamir Khan shared his sad thoughts concerning the death of Reema Lagoo. He said:
“She was healthy and doing well. Her sudden death is saddening. My first film was with Reemaji ‘Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak’. She was a brilliant actor with a heart of gold. She had a great interest in social issues, much better than youngsters. May her soul rest in peace.”
Sanjay Dutt was unfortunately not able to attend the funeral. However, he showed his sadness by stating that he has lost a mother again. He has previously worked with Reema Lagoo in Vaastav which went on to get a super hit tag. He said:
“I’m deeply saddened to hear about the untimely demise of Reema Lagoo Ji. We have worked together in many movies, and with each of those, I got to learn something new from her. Our bond, especially during Vaastav, was very special and I got to learn a lot from her. Being one of most talented actresses of the country, her demise has created a void which is difficult to fill. May God give strength to her family and close ones. I have lost a mother again.”
