Saif Ali khan upcoming movies in 2017, 2018 With Release Date : Saif Ali Khan is an Indian film actor and producer.He is the son of actress Sharmila Tagore and the late cricketer Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi.saif was born in New Delhi.Khan has two younger sisters, Saba and actress Soha Ali Khan.Khan studied at The Lawrence School, Sanawar in Himachal Pradesh and was later sent to Lockers Park School in Hertfordshire at the age of nine.He next enrolled at Winchester College .Upon graduating from the boarding school, Khan returned to India and took a position in an advertising firm in Delhi for two months.He later appeared in the television commercial for Gwalior Suiting when advised by a family friend.

In 1991, Khan was cast as the male lead in Rahul Rawail’s romantic drama Bekhudi alongside debutante Kajol, but after completing the first shooting schedule of the film, he was unceremoniously dropped and replaced by Kamal Sadanah.Khan made his acting debut with Parampara, a drama directed by Yash Chopra. The film brings to screen the story of two estranged brothers and failed at the box office.Khan earned the Filmfare Award for Best Male Debut for his role in Aashiq Awara at the 39th Filmfare Awards.Khan starred in and earned public recognition with his next two releases alongside Akshay Kumar: Yash Raj Films’ hit romantic drama Yeh Dillagi and the action film Main Khiladi Tu Anari.

After four consecutive years of poorly received films, Khan’s career prospects started looking better in 1999; he starred in four films: Yeh Hai Mumbai Meri Jaan, Kachche Dhaage, Aarzoo and Hum Saath-Saath Hain.In 2001, Khan appeared in Farhan Akhtar’s National Film Award-winning Dil Chahta Hai alongside Aamir Khan and Akshaye Khanna.Khan essayed the role of Sameer Mulchandani, a “hopeless romantic”,resulting in a Filmfare Award for Best Performance in a Comic Role. The Nikhil Advani-directed romantic drama Kal Ho Naa Ho (2003), was a “landmark” in his career.Khan starred as Karan Singh Rathod in the thriller Ek Hasina Thi (2004).

2015:Following a brief appearance in the comedy Dolly Ki Doli (2015), Khan appeared opposite Katrina Kaif in Kabir Khan’s counter-terrorism drama Phantom (2015). Based on the book Mumbai Avengers by Hussain Zaidi, the film is based on the event of 26/11 Mumbai attacks.Phantom generated controversy when the Central Board of Film Censors decided that the film represented Pakistan in a negative light and banned the film from releasing there. But it went on to become a commercial success.
