Farah Khan who previously directed the multi-starrer ‘Happy New Year’ featuring Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, Abhishek Bachchan and Sonu Sood in the lead roles is all set to make a return to the director’s chair with her musical next.
The choreographer-director is well-known around the country for her dance moves and ability to hit the emotions of the audience with her films. Whether you talk about ‘Main Hoon Na’ or ‘Happy New Year’; she did not fail to impress us with her entertaining movies. However, this time around instead of Shah Rukh Khan as the lead actor, she is going to cast a young bunch of actors to take over the lead cast of the movie.
As per certain reports, it is said that the film is going to be based on the lines of ‘The Jungle Book’. A source exclusively informed media regarding the film by stating:
“Farah is currently working on a musical extravaganza. She is reading a script that’s on the lines of The Jungle Book. It is currently work-in-progress. Older actors won’t fit the role, hence, she is looking to cast heroes and heroines from the current generation.”
Despite not being the lead actor in the film; it might not come as a surprise if the ‘King of Bollywood’ Shah Rukh Khan will have a cameo appearance in the movie. In fact, who knows he might even have an extended cameo role in the musical film. Though, any such or other details regarding the film are still kept under the wraps as of now.
