The Ajay Devgn and Emraan Hashmi starrer movie Baadshaho starts off on a decent note on its Day 1 (1st Friday). The movie received mixed to negative reviews from the critics. However, the action-packed tag of the film is helping it soar ahead. It earned 12.03 crores on its Day 1 to register a massive total and a scope of improving over the weekend and go on to collect above 40 crores in its 1st weekend at the Indian box office. Baadshaho is a multi-starrer film that has the infamous trio of ‘Once Upon A Time in Mumbaai’ aka Milan-Ajay-Emraan back in action. The film has not opened to an earth shattering response because of being a normal release. However, with the Bakri Eid festival on Saturday; the film would look to grow and collect around 15 crores today. As of now, the film beat Kaabil to become the 8th highest first day grosser of 2017. On the other, Shubh Mangal Saavdhan received mixed to positive reviews from the critics. Despite the good reception, the film managed to earn only 2.71 crores on its Day 1 (1st Friday) at the Indian box office. The Ayushmann Khurrana and Bhumi Pednekar starrer will heavily depend upon the word of mouth it receives from the audience in the upcoming days to gain the hit tag at the Indian box office. It will most probably collect around 10 crores in its first weekend.
