Nitesh Tiwari, the Dangal director was recently engaged in a discussion regarding Dangal’s sequel. Talking about it, he said that it is too early to make a sequel to the film.
The director who has written his wife Ashwiny Tiwari’s Bareilly Ki Barfi says that she has a different working approach compared to him. He says:
“We are working together for many years and we have a very mature understanding between both of us. We both work on each other’s strengths and try to improve each other’s weaknesses.”
Following these statements, he says that it is a matter of pride for him knowing that his wife’s film is receiving good response from the audience. He adds:
“As a husband and wife, we support and encourage each other in our work and try to give constructive feedback to each other.”
He further adds:
“For the creators of this film, it’s a very positive feeling. The trailer, dialogue promo, and songs of the film are getting a great response. So as a writer, I’m feeling very happy and as a husband, I feel very proud of what Ashwiny has achieved with this film.A So I would like to wish all the luck for our entire team and I hope people will like the film.”
Finally, a reporter asked him regarding the sequel of his famous directorial, Dangal. Answering to the question he replied:
“I can’t say it. It is too early as ‘Dangal’ is still fresh in all our minds. I don’t rule out anything but if there is something exciting, different and fresh approach that we can bring in the film then why not.”
Dangal is a sports drama film that featured Aamir Khan, Zaira Wasim, Fatima Sana Shaikh and Sakshi Tanwar in the lead roles. The movie went onto become the highest grossing Indian film of all time during its release. Presently, it is highest grossing Indian film worldwide as well.
