Dhadak was out today and the sources review it as a film which could have done a lot more than what it presently did. The film was neither a comprehensive drama nor bared an authenticate taste of Sairat. Dhadak was not up to the mark in reflecting its hot Bollywood flavorsome romance. The review sources marked 1 and a half stars while rating the movie.

dhadak review

Dhadak was a remake of the Marathi movie named Sairath. The original film story had transcended the viewers to a different world with not just the story and cast but also with the amount of realistic impact that the movie could create.

It is impossible for anybody to match up to the level of film-making reached by the legendary directory Nagraj Manjule who happened to direct Sairat. However, the audience who went to watch the film with the hope of witnessing the trademark of the charming director Shashank Khaitan, wherein he promised to bring out youthful spirit, newness and the leading attraction which allured the young bunch of film lovers, unfortunately it was turned out to be light and faded in this film.

Talking from the audiences’ point of view, the flavors created by the director’s previous works like Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhaniya and Badrinath Ki Dulhaniya, fill the viewers’ minds. Hence, expectations for this film would have shot up to the peak.

Dhadak has lots which could have been worked on to make it a better film. The remake doesn’t really seem so enticing. The background music could have been a little more soothing. Janhavi Kapoor started with it, but need not have to end with the same feel as she has got lot more opportunities to bloom up her career. We really hope the star kids see a bright future in the film industry and prove their mettle while they are here.
