Farhan Akhtar Replaced by Saqib Saleem in Akshay Kumar’s Gold


As per the sources it has been heard that Farhan Akhtar who was supposed to play the second lead in the Akshay Kumar’s upcoming movie Gold has rejected the offer. And the offer has gone none other than to Saqib Saleem. Well, we are not yet aware that if Saqib Saleem has accepted the offer or not, but we doubt who will reject the offer in such a historic movie.

Gold is the upcoming Bollywood movie of Akshay Kumar which is slated to hit the theatres in 2018. The movie will have Akshay Kumar as the main lead and here Akshay will be seen playing the role of Balbir Singh. Balbir Singh is such a hockey player who has the history of winning gold medal in Olympics for three years. He has won gold medal for India in Olympics in the years – 1948, 1952 and 1956. And Akshay will be seen essaying this role.

Now, as per the reports Farhan Akhtar was supposed to play the parallel lead in Akshay Kumar’s movie Gold. But Farhan Akhtar has turned down the offer. The reasons are unknown. And this is not the first time that Farhan Akhtar has turned down an offer. Recently, he also turned down an offer in Shah Rukh Khan starrer Raees. The role went on to Nawazuddin Siddique. Farhan we seriously want to know, why you keep on turning down the roles?

Well, it is being said that Farhan did not want to play the second lead in such great movie like Raees in past and now Gold. And that’s the reason why he has turned down the roles. Farhan Akhtar is also producing Akshay Kumar starrer Gold under his home production banner Excel Entertainment. Well, we hope Farhan to see you soon on the silver screen.
