In a recent interaction with the media, Katrina Kaif revealed that while being a part of the movie from day 1, she got extremely attached to the character of Arifa, played by Anushka Sharma.

She has been quoted as saying, “I loved it and cried because I didn’t get to play that character. I’ve been with the story from the start and have seen it develop into the story it is now. So, you obviously get attached to some characters, like I did with Anushka’s part.”

Further, she added that, she is at a point in her life where she is drawn towards certain situations and places where she has never been before. Katrina emphasized that there was more work on her character than what was expected and said, “More than it being challenged, it was not a happy or upbeat place to go back to. You are anyway trying to keep up and be happy in a happy space in your personal life, then, when you go on set, you have to go back and step into that zone. It’s not easy”

Katrina Kaif’s solo number Husn Parcham in the film Zero was released a few days ago and has been received very well by the audience. The song was compared to her earlier performance “Kamali”. Two more songs from the movie were released, which positively strikes a chord with the audience. The film is slated for release on 21th December.
