The natural star Nani is very much excited about his new film ‘Krishnarjuna Yuddham’. The actor, who has delivered many hits back to back, has set high hopes on this film.
Director Merlapaka Gandhi, who has penned films like Venkatadri Express and Express Raja, has directed this film. Nani has played a dual role in this film and tried something unique when compared to his previous films. The film is out now and one can check the review below.
Nani plays a dual role in this film: one a village guy who lives in Chittoor and the other is an Indian-origin rockstar (Arjun), who lives in Europe. The rockstar (Arjun) falls for Lakshmi (Anupama) and the village guy (Krishna) falls for Riya (Ruksar). These couples encounter a problem in their life, which turns their story upside down. What is that they encounter? How do they overcome the situation and will they reunite? This forms the crust of the story.
Talking about the performance of the lead actors, Nani and the other two heroines have done their best and impressed the audience with their performance. However, the script is very weak and unfortunately, it is not good enough to make the audience stay glued to the film.
The technical aspects of the film like cinematography are very well done. Karthik Gattamaneni showed a different working style in this film when compared to his previous ones. To make the screenplay interesting, the editors of this film have chopped off a lot of scenes from first and second half.
Production values are rich and lavish. With this film, a new production house has entered the Tollywood industry.
Instead of making this film as a routine drama, the film makers could have made it an interesting thriller. On a final note, this film has decent comedy and few good sequences. Except for Nani’s fans, there is not much to rave about this movie.
