At the International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) weekend, Bollywood superstar Salman Khan addresses Varun Dhawan’s ‘Judwaa 2’. He said ‘Judwaa 2’ is going to take the success of Indian cinema to the next level, that no-one can even think about it.

While discussing how IIFA celebrations could move forward the global visibility of Industry, Varun Dhawan said,

“Indian cinema is on the global map now with ‘Dangal‘ and ‘Baahubali‘ doing so well… In fact, ‘Baahubali’ has done a lot of business in North America.”

That’s when Salman Khan swiftly said,

“‘Judwaa 2‘ is going to take it to the next level.”

The movie Judwaa 2 is a sequel to “Judwaa“ of 1997 starring Salman Khan. But sequel also features Jacqueline Fernandez and Taapsee Pannu.

While in an interview, Varun was asked about the stress and difficulties faced by him in doing the sequel of Salman. On this, Varun said: “We just shot a scene together, but we can’t talk about it.”

David Dhawan is directing ‘Judwaa 2’ under the banner of Sajid Nadiadwala’s Nadiadwala Grandson. It is all set to hit the screens on 29th September.

Talking about Remo D’Souza’s next movie, Salman Khan confirmed that the female lead opposite to him would be Jacqueline. He said, “Yes, Remo’s film will have Jacqueline and me. She’s a superbly talented dancer, and she will do a brilliant job.”

Talking about his role, Salman Khan added,

“My character, in the film, is a widower, who has a nine-year-old daughter. He has promised his dead wife that he will fulfill every wish made by his daughter. She wants him to participate in a dance competition and enrolls his name for it. For the competition, he has to learn to dance. Jackie trains me to do that. Bas dance film Karna Baaki Tha, ab Woh Bhi Kar Liya.”

The actor’s next Ali Abbas Zafar’s ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’ is releasing on 22nd December, starring Katrina Kaif.  Let’s see how much collection this movie makes at the box-office.
