Sushant Singh Rajput opted out from the spy thriller paving way for the muscular John Abraham to play the spy in ‘Romeo Akbar Walter’ based on the Indo-Pak war of 1971. It was quite some time after MS Dhoni: The Untold Story star parted ways.
After the Kai Po Che star opted out at the last minute, the filmmakers have now decided to complete the filmmaking within 60 days and its release is scheduled on June 1.
The makers now are all ready to commence the film’s shooting in Gujarat, Srinagar, and Nepal. It’s very interesting to see movies based on true events coming out nowadays despite commercialization entertainment on the high.
The spy-thriller film written and directed by Robbie Grewal is based on the backdrop of Indo-Pak War of 1971. Romeo Akbar Walter will hopefully take you on the journey of all possible races, attack and restraint stories related to the war of 1971 between India and Pakistan.
However, Pakistan is now world famous for playing the game of terror and violence quite blendfully. India, as a defender, has been the victim since its independence.
Remarkably, Dheeraj Wadhwan, Ajay Kapoor, Vanessa Walia, and Gary Grewal came together to join hands in the production of ‘Romeo Akbar Walter’.
Meanwhile, it is highly respectful of the filmmakers and its cast to work on such a film to spread out the awareness in the world of the consequences of violence and enmity. The film is now slated to release on June 1 this year.
Besides, John Abraham is busy with the promotion of the film Parmanu: The Story of Pokhran, India’s first nuclear bomb test. The Cocktail actress Diana Penty will also be seen alongside. With the film already planned to hit the floors last year, fans are now hoping to visit theatres sometime soon this year.
