In recent years, Priyanka has shown her keen interest in working with the director. After refusing many scripts, Priyanka finally agreed to this script. Talking about her current life status, right now the actress is working on Shonali Bose’s project titled ‘The Sky Is Pink’ opposite Farhan Akhtar, which will be releasing soon.  Both the actors were seen together in ‘Dil Dhadakne Do’, which was a multi-starrer movie. The actress is now enjoying some amazing moments of her personal life with family and friends. Confirming the reports of Priyanka’s exit from Salman Khan starrer Bharat, we found a strong reason for Priyanka taking this step and that was because of her engagement with boyfriend Nick Jonas.

Talking about the clash that the movie will face with Varun Dhawan starrer ‘Sui Dhaga’, the director said, “During Haider, we had Bang Bang against us. I don’t think this matters. The audience will watch both the films. Gandhi Jayanti has been very lucky for me. Talvar also released on Gandhi Jayanti. I wanted this film also to release during Gandhi Jayanti.”

Both Priyanka and Vishal have talked about the movie and will start the project probably in the coming year. Right now, the director seems busy promoting Patakha.
