The International pop sensation and a heartthrob to girls across the globe created a buzz on social media earlier on Tuesday. This time, his surprise came in the form of a cover song “Alla Duhai Hai” from the Blockbuster film “Race 3”, which is a Salman Khan starrer. This rendition was stylized with Electronic Dance Music (EDM) beats. Soon after, elated Indian fans took to Twitter and praised his feat. A few, however, criticized his language incompetency saying he needed to work on his Hindi.
This isn’t the first time Zayn Malik has done a cover of a Bollywood song. In the past, he has covered songs like “Allah Ke Bande” and Kailash Kher’s “Teri Deewani”. The cover of “Teri Deewani” was subject to excessive trolling and he had to take it down, but this time around, his cover song has garnered praise.
There are a lot of speculations around the cover song. It has left his fans wondering whether he might be signing a Bollywood film any time soon or simply intends to woo the Indian music industry with his voice. Perhaps, he might as well be announcing his concert in India; well only time will tell.
Zayn Malik is a Pakistani by origin and was formerly a member of the music band, One Direction.
